dea komentarza zrodziła się w związku ze złotym jubileuszem Biblii Tysiąclecia w roku 2015. Jej inicjatorem był o. prof. Hugolin H. Langkammer OFM (zm. 2021). Na ten jubileusz opracowano komentarze do wszystkich ksiąg Nowego Testamentu w 5 tomach (6 woluminach), Pallottinum 2014-2015.
Aktualnie trwają prace na skomentowaniem wszystkich ksiąg Starego Testamentu w 8 tomach. Inicjatorem i redaktorem naukowym jest ks. prof. Mirosław S. Wróbel, KUL; zaproszono ponad 20 autorów polskich. Jako pierwszy ukazał się tom 7 z Komentarzem do Księgi Jeremiasza (Jr), Lamentacje (Lm), Barucha (Ba) i Ezechiela (Ez).
W tomie 6 znajdują się: Księga Izajasza i Księga Daniela.
