Jarosław Klejnocki polski pisarz i poeta, eseista, krytyk literacki oraz nauczyciel akademicki. Od 2010 roku jest dyrektorem Muzeum Literatury im. Adam Mickiewicza.
Związany z Uniwersytetem Warszawskim, gdzie w 1988 roku obronił prace magisterską a później doktorat traktujący o poezji Adama Zagajewskiego. Praca została opublikowana w formie książki pt. Bez utopii? Rzecz o poezji Adama Zagajewskiego.
Obecnie pracuje jako adiunkt na Wydziale Polonistyki UW, specjalność: metodyka nauczania, polska literatura współczesna, teoria i praktyka interpretacji oraz recepcji. Stypendysta rządu USA (1992) oraz programu Research Support Scheme dla naukowców z Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej (1996-1999).
W 2011 roku został uhonorowany Nagrodą Światowego Dnia Poezji, ustanowiona przez UNESCO.
