Piotr Pożakowski - absolwent Akademii Muzycznej im. S. Moniuszki w Gdańsku w klasie waltorni prof. Edwarda Danieckiego. Podczas studiów był stypendystą Ministerstwa Kultury i Sztuki. Od 1993 roku jest członkiem orkiestry Polskiej Filharmonii Bałtyckiej w Gdańsku, z którą występuje na wielu koncertach w kraju i za granicą. Ponad 100 razy występował na recitalach solowych i koncertach kameralnych. Działalność artystyczną łączy też z pracą pedagogiczną w Szkole Muzycznej I i II st. w Gdyni. Prowadzi też klasę waltorni w Akademii Sztuki w Szczecinie, gdzie pracuje na stanowisku adiunkta.
