"Marzenia ściętej głowy" to tom przeważnie surrealistyczny, z wieloma wątkami przeskakującymi między chociażby śmiercią, lenistwem, czy najprzeróżniejszym odurzeniem. Groteskowości dodaje też zestaw barwnych podmiotów lirycznych.
