This book presents a description of the Lublin Philosophical School. This term refers to a way of cultivating the realistic and classical philosophy developed in the 1950s and 1960s by the philosophers from the Catholic University of Lublin. The Lublin School has the features of cognitive realism, maximalism, methodological autonomy, and universal scope of its assertions, coherence or consistency, and objectivity. Among the topics covered in the book, the reader will find the reasons and circumstances surrounding the school's beginning, the program and specific character of the philosophy cultivated in the school with special attention to the foundation of that philosophy, which is metaphysics, and the legacy of the school in various domains of philosophy.
